Northern Peripheral Road, commonly known as Dwarka Expressway can be defined as a marvel of Roads, Flyovers, and Underpasses. It is a 27.6 km long, under construction, 8-lane expressway connecting Dwarka in Delhi to NH-8 near Kherki Daula Toll Plaza in Gurgaon.
It would be connecting SPR via NH8 through the upcoming Cloverleaf flyover.
Infrastructure Update
It is the third direct major connecting route between Delhi and Gurgaon, after NH-8 and MG Road, The proposed metro rail route will make connectivity easier in the future. A new ISBT is coming up near the intersection of 84m Linking Road of Sec 83/84 and Dwarka Expressway in New Gurgaon, close to NH-8 intersection.
Other merits of the area include mushrooming business hubs, commercial buildings, a wide range of Residential projects and townships, and a Global City which is being developed by (HSIIDC) the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation.
In addition to experiencing a rapid increase in residential growth, the Dwarka Expressway is also becoming an important center for commercial real estate. Several IT and ITES hubs are coming up across areas such as Sectors 89, 114, and 113, among others.
